English IV offers literature from the British Isles . Students will have the opportunity to explore literature from maritime authors such as Joseph Conrad and Robert Louis Stevenson. English IV students are required to write a research paper. Through topics of my choosing, they will research topics such as ancient and modern day whaling, surviving in the wilderness, and The Great Barrier Reef.
